Combining outdoor learning and land stewardship to supply freshly harvested fruits and vegetables to our school lunches. The goal of the ULS Farm to Table program is twofold: to provide fresh, whole foods to students and to model the attainability and sustainability of healthy living and the benefits of hard work.

Our Farms and Gardens
Teaching students to grow food, live sustainably, and become stewards of the land.
Students at ULS learn their way around the farm and gardens by helping to plant and harvest spring, summer, and fall crops and tend to the animals. We teach students independence through practicing stewardship over our 180 acre campus.
Fresh is Where We Begin
Practicing hyper-local and seasonally-informed eating
We take great pride in providing students with the freshest ingredients from our garden and from local suppliers, striving to source locally when we can’t grow it ourselves. Our kitchen ideology is that we want our students to eat like they would with family, utilizing home recipes and a from-scratch mentality in everything we do.
ULS uses MyMealOrder, a convenient platform for parents to easily order fresh and nutritious meals from Laker Cafe. Simply create an account to start placing your orders!
