Laker Spirit

For over 50 years, ULS students have embraced academic, charitable, and athletic challenges throughout the school year as part of competitive team-building experiences. Each year, students, families, and faculty are proudly assigned to either the Hawks or the Eagles, engaging in friendly competitions that strengthen school spirit, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership. These year-round events foster a deep sense of community and connection, bringing together students, parents, and faculty in a shared tradition of camaraderie and excellence.

For many students, Fall, Winter, and Spring Field Days are the best three days of the year. The tradition reaches its peak during Spring Field Day, when the entire ULS community comes together to witness the thrilling final tug-of-war battle and celebrate with a festive cookout for students, parents, faculty, and staff. Go Lakers!
