We strive to focus on the individual experiences of each student. Intentional classroom sizing and thoughtful teacher ratios are foundational elements of academic and social-emotional success at ULS. Therefore, spaces at our school are not guaranteed until the enrollment process is fully complete.

Wait Pools for Limited Space
Current interest in ULS exceeds our available space. University Lake School is mission-bound to provide an unparalleled student experience, and as a community of learning we have found that thinking carefully about the size of each classroom (and maintaining an unusually small ratio of students to teachers) helps us curate the best experience for each student, family, and classroom.
Our admissions criteria reflect this priority, and we consider a broad range of characteristics, interests, capacities, and potential when putting together a class, with special focus on identifying those students best positioned to make the most of the ULS experience and to help us meet the aims of our non-profit educational mission.
All families interested in attending ULS should apply by the deadline for the first application period of the school year; this includes currently enrolled students wishing to return. Current ULS students and their siblings are given first priority. After the first enrollment period, spaces will open for new families in our wait pool.
If you are a new family looking to ensure the best chance for a spot, please complete each step of the admissions process prior to the first application deadline. Our admissions office is ready to support and guide you throughout this process, and we are eager to field questions or entertain your hopes and thoughts at any time.
