Homecoming week, held the first week of October, is a school-wide event that includes Fall Field Day and special activities each day. The week ends with an all-school Homecoming parade through the streets of downtown Delafield. After the parade, students and parents return to campus to cheer for our fall sports teams, share a community dinner hosted by the Booster Club and enjoy a bonfire.
ULS concerts are held twice a year in the Treiber Theater. The winter concerts are traditionally held in early December and the spring concerts in late April or early May. Each concert celebrates the musical accomplishments of our students.
Parents from grade or division levels host parties throughout the school year. These informal social gatherings provide parents with a great opportunity to connect with one another.
Each year, student artists host a public exhibit in the Thekla P. Brumder Fine Arts Gallery. Gallery Night is an evening reception showcasing and celebrating the visual arts accomplishments of our students.
The Theatre Department produces two major shows annually. In the fall, students perform a dramatic play. The school musical is performed in the winter. Performances have included: “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Les Miserables,” “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Bloody Murder” and “Bye Bye Birdie.”
The Spring Auction is a capstone fundraising event held annually. Past venues include the ULS Michels Campus Green and the Chenequa Country Club. In addition to celebrating what makes ULS special, attendees have the opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items.
Students spend the day outdoors engaged in a variety of games and activities, competing on the Green and White teams.
