Free Community Movie Nights hosted at University Lake School presents “Up,” on Friday, March 2 at 7 p.m.

Join us Saturday, March 10, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., for our Preprimary Open House. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Registration is open for the Performing Arts Summer Series, “A Musical Theatre Review.” Classes begin June 18 and a final performance will be held Friday, July 27.

Laker Playgroup is available for spring session. Laker Playgroup is a fun, educational playgroup facilitated by the same master educators who teach at ULS. Activities include art, music, Spanish and nature exploration. For children ages 18 months to 3 years.

My educational beliefs coincide with the Reggio Emilia approach as to how young children learn best. I believe all children are strong, capable, individuals who are curious about the world around them. Treating children with kindness and respects models to them how to treat other people. JK’s foundation consists of character building, problem solving, and relationship building.

ULS is one of my favorite places to be! This is my 18th year of teaching young children and my 7th year at ULS. I enjoy working with young children because they question everything which encourages me to take a deeper thought provoking look at the world around me. Through the innate drive of the children to learn, they truly end up teaching me so much each year. I have two children of my own. My sons are both in the middle school this year and love the independence and freedom to spread their wings and soar that ULS provides for them. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and gardening plus indoor activities like cooking, weightlifting, and cheering on the Packer’s!
