Applying for assistance is simple and is not based solely on your household income. Tuition assistance considers an array of household factors including debts outstanding, assets, depreciation, unusual expenses, number of dependents and more. More than one-third of our students receive tuition assistance. ULS prides itself on the confidentiality of our tuition assistance program and that tuition assistance can be applied for anytime during the admissions process.
Through scholarships, payment plans and need-based financial assistance, we work toward making a ULS education feasible for highly-motivated children throughout the Lake County area and beyond. We are fortunate to be able to provide tuition assistance for students in our JK 3-year-old program through grade 12 on the basis of demonstrated financial need.
An academic scholarship and/or tuition assistance award is a gift to the student and there is no obligation to repay the school. Scholarships, when awarded, are either designated as renewable or non-renewable.
-Students must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA in the Upper and Middle schools and must maintain an academically eligible standing in the Lower School, to be reviewed at the end of each school year.
-Students and parents must be positive ambassadors for the school, both inside and outside the immediate ULS community.
