STRATEGIC PLANNING

The Strategic Planning process will ensure that ULS is at the forefront of independent college-preparatory education. ULS parents, alumni, alumni parents, students, faculty and staff all have a voice in this effort.

UPDATES

Initiatives Day, previously scheduled for April 2, will be held in an online format. We still need your valuable insight for the future of ULS. The next phase in this process is to review the Vision, Goals and Strategies here and submit your initiatives through the links below by midnight, April 2.

Initiatives are your ideas for projects, programs and activities that advance each of the strategies. What would you like to see happen for each strategy in support of each goal? Finally, we are asking that you propose only the activities that you can help develop, either individually or as a member of a group.

We look forward to receiving your initiatives. Thank you for your continued participation and inspiring ideas. If you have questions, please email Mr. Tim Horner, Interim Head of School and Head of Administration at timothy.horner@universitylake.org

What is Strategic Planning?

The ULS "Soaring Beyond Brilliance" strategic planning process is an initiative to build a vision for the future of our school. The seeds of this effort were planted during the winter 2018 Brilliance Assembly. This day-long workshop was led by Matt Saiia '93, and attended by current and past parents, trustees, alumni, teachers and staff. The group discussed what we cherish most about ULS and identified key themes to enhance. This process dovetails with the completion of a renewed accreditation process through ISACS (Independent Schools Association of the Central States).
