Barn Sale - October 1st-3rd, 2010 In 1958, a group of ULS founding parents started what has evolved into a school tradition: the Barn Sale. Originally intended to be a rummage sale where new teachers could go and buy household supplies, furniture and clothing, this sale was eventually opened to the public. From these humble beginnings it has transformed into the giant it is today.
Presently, the Barn Sale is a tremendous undertaking for over 80 volunteers all summer long and over 500 volunteers during the sale weekend. Attracting visitors from all over Southeastern Wisconsin and beyond, this 53 year-old tradition now raises over $150,000 annually to help defray tuition costs for students at ULS.

The Sale is held every year during the first full weekend in October. The Barn Sale grounds are situated on the campus at the corner of Nagawicka and Vettelson Roads. Three separate buildings and several tents make up the 20,000 square feet of shopping. The success of the huge undertaking depends on a wide variety of quality donations suitable for resale and a volunteer force of parents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty, students and administration.
