Whether mapping the great blue heron rookery a few weeks ago in the upper school, or pulling seeds off of their socks for collection and germination in first grade, or wading through the Oconomowoc River as part of the fifth graders restoration project – these stories continue to show how effective our teachers are at bringing learning alive in our student’s minds and hearts. Your gift this year to annual giving will help to continue the very vibrant and innovative work our quality faculty do with our students every day.
We understand that today’s economic environment continues to be challenging. We also know that the extended school community has embraced and overcome similar challenges in the past. In fact, annual giving donations have increased every year for the past seven years.
Please remember your participation is more important than the size of the gift. It takes all of us working together to fulfill the collective dreams we have for University Lake School. The rising costs of education make it increasingly difficult to maintain our quality programs on tuition dollars alone. The annual fund is an essential component to our school’s operating budget, playing an instrumental role in not only supporting innovative academic initiatives but our faculty as well - allowing ULS to continue to recruit and retain the very best teachers to inspire and nurture our student’s love of learning.
