Be a part of the community here

Parents are crucial partners in the Laker education

In 1956 a group of pioneering families founded ULS with rare purpose and energy.  We are proud to partner with parents in this shared mission of unparalleled Laker education, now and forever. A community of learning is committed to the well-being and education of all its members. Thank you in advance for your warm presence, thoughtful participation, and meaningful support at all levels of Laker life.

  • “This parenting community is very engaged. They truly want the best for the entire community, and it’s very easy to reach out, not just to the parents in your own grade level, but across the board."

Enrichment – Enrichment opportunities vary each school year based on student interest. Past offerings have included yoga, basketball and volleyball.

One-on-One Academic Support – ULS offers one-on-one academic support to students who will benefit from it. Students will be recommended for this support by their teachers.

Lunch Program

We are excited to introduce our new lunch program -- Laker Cafe! Laker Cafe is bringing to ULS the option of a daily wholesome homemade lunch and/or snack.

Register for Meals

Meals at Laker Cafe will feature nutrient-rich ingredients like whole wheat and vegetables, along with organic and locally sourced foods when possible. As the garden and greenhouse projects expand, those farm fresh ingredients will be incorporated into the meals as well. All meals are made on-site and served in the Manegold Lower School cafeteria.
