Students, teachers, and parents form a collaborative partnership at ULS to create what we believe is a
distinctive school community. At University Lake School we challenge young minds, prepare them for college
and beyond, and foster a keen and enthusiastic love for learning. I hope that your visit to our web site
gives you a glimpse into the life of our school. Our success here at University Lake School continues to
be measured by our commitment to our traditional strengths:

We owe our mission and sense of community to our original founding families. Fifty-One years ago, a small
group of parents came together because they shared a common vision for a college preparatory school for
their children here in the Lake Country. Today that vision remains vibrant as a new generation of parents
has joined and reinvigorated the University Lake School community. Volunteerism and “character through
service” also remain hallmarks of the ULS experience. Students, parents, and teachers work together on
such annual events as the Barn Sale and Homecoming Weekends which serve as important reminders of how
special a role the expanded ULS community plays in all our lives. I hope your visit to our web site will
kindle your interest to learn more about ULS. The best way of course is to come see us for yourself. I
